What a hidden gem in Carnegie! PROS *Excellent value. Half the price of what I would expect to pay elsewhere. *Really, really friendly staff. *Everything is made fresh to order. Pizza was delicious: soft dough base and piping hot topping. CONS *Not really a con. It’s a small kitchen. So you may need to wait a little. It’s not a generic, mass-production-line sandwich store like others nearby. Most definitely worth the wait.

Carnegie’s best kept secret. Cheapest coffee and food in Melbourne. A taste of Italy run by an old school Italian gentleman. Food is freshly made on the premises and the atmosphere and staff are laid back and friendly. Cheapest and freshest Tiramisu in Melbourne

My local awesome small cafe. Prices are the lowest in Melbourne Coffee and chai is exceptional Pasta is so good and so cheap Pizza is excellent and dough made fresh onsite Seating is outside .. just a shame people smoke at tables while you eat.

A nice small local cafe near the train station. Affordable price on coffee, pizza and pasta from the menu. Friendly service with warm smile. Ordered a Pizza Melbourne, the combination of the ingredients worked really well together. The dough was thin and light, crust was crispy (Nice home made dough).Also good prices on selected bottle beers for $6.

I had an amazing experience at Cafe Perri in Carnegie! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the owner were friendly. Although I didn’t have the chance to try any food this time, everything on the menu looked fantastic, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try some dishes next time. The prices are incredibly reasonable, which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend this gem to anyone in the area!

Came to sit for a quick lunch, had their prosciutto roll and chicken roll, was very nice. Very affordable and the girl working today was very kind and handled all areas of service and food preparation incredibly well. Will definitely be back to try their pizza and wine

Literally such an amazing experience! I saw the cafe’s amazing prices on their sign outside- not only did I get a roll with mayo, lettuce, tomato, salami and other ingredients for $10, it was also amazing quality!! Genuinely so so yummy, exactly what I was hoping for. Not to mention, the lovely staff! Shout out to Kate who was so so kind, one day the pigeons will be free! The boss also seems super lovely to their staff, more than happy to make accommodations where needed. Will definitely be going back when I’m in Carnegie next!!
